Department of Physics

The Department of Physics was established with UG (B.Sc.) in the year 2003 and PG (M.Sc.) in the year 2015. And it has produced around 900 students including university Rank holders.The Department having forum named Fusion of Sparkling Physics (FOSP). The aim of forum is to find the Research ideas and Leadership Quality in the student Community. The Department serves with the dynamic mission to achieve excellence in both academic and research perspectives to the students through various SAIF Laboratory visit and to impart basic concepts of Science to evolving Graduates, this enables them to be high Quality researchers, Providing a strong foundation in Physics to Prepare high quality students, to inspire and prepare the students to meet the needs of the nation. The advisory committee members from the various Institutions, enhance our students and faculty members.

Research

The department has a team of highly qualified and experienced in teaching, research. The faculty members are well versed with current trends and technologies in the Research activities at the department are progressing in the following areas:

• Crystal Growth
• Molecular Modelling
• Drug Delivery
• Molecular Spectroscopy
• Computational Materials science and Biophysics.
