Department of English

Introduction

The Department of English in our college was instituted in the 2009 and later it was upgraded as the PG Department in 2013. In the beginning of the UG Degree (BA English), more than 75 students were studied. More over most of them have got their degree by getting maximum marks, and some of them obtained their degree with Ist class.

In order to enrich their literary knowledge and inclination, our Department organized and conducted a number of competitive programmes to update their innovative knowledge in the field of language and Literature.

According to our department, our faculties have possessed a lot of abilities relevant to the subjects and also they have good language competency in English. Besides they are also striving too hard to improvise their innovative teaching and ideal methodology day by day especially in the teaching performance.

Further and further, our staff members have participated and presented their papers presentations in the various international seminars and workshop conducted in their other colleges and they were also appreciated by providing certificates for their best performances.

Our college also offered PG Degree M.A. English in the year 2013. In the beginning of the pg degree 10 students were studied in it and all of them obtained the degrees by earning Ist class. They were very curious and intensive to learn more and more valuable things apart from the education in order to guide and uplift the society specifically in the field of education. At present almost 50 students doing in PG course.

Above all, our staff members are always energetic, dedicative, enthusiastic and duty bound to provide the best education for the down trodden people. Our Aim is to offer: “EDUCATION IN QUALITY AND QUALITY IN EDUCATION”.
